A fair, side-by-side look at what each platform does, what it costs, and what actually syncs to your QuickBooks. No spin, just facts.
Jobber is a solid scheduling tool. But when it comes to financial visibility and QuickBooks depth, the gap is significant.

Jobber connects to QuickBooks Online. But "connects" and "keeps your books clean" are two very different things.
Jobber sends invoices, payments, items, clients, timesheets, refunds, and tips to QBO. That's it. Jobber lets the crew snap an expense receipt on the mobile app, but the receipt photo and expense data stay inside Jobber — none of it flows to QuickBooks. Your bookkeeper still has to enter every field expense by hand.
Jobber syncs payments as "undeposited funds" in QBO. If your owner or bookkeeper also records bank deposits manually, revenue gets double-counted. This is Jobber's single most common QBO headache.
Without expense data flowing to QBO, you can't track job costs in real time. You find out a job went over budget weeks or months after the fact.
Jobber has no work-in-progress tracking, no live KPIs, no margin gauges. You're flying blind on job profitability until the books are closed.
Every field expense flows from capture to your books automatically.

*Contractor Foreman: Standard plan ($49/mo) does not include QuickBooks integration, API access, or custom reports. QBO integration requires Plus ($87/mo) or higher.
*Jobber: Headline pricing on getjobber.com is the annual prepaid rate ($22, $73, $109, $387/mo). Month-to-month billing (shown above) runs 80–90% higher. So the “$49” you saw is the cheaper monthly rate, but matching it requires paying a year up front.
*Housecall Pro: Headline ads the annual rate. Month-to-month adds $20–$40/mo per plan.
*Contractor Foreman: Annual prepay only at the headline rate (no advertised true month-to-month). QBO integration also requires the Plus plan ($166/mo, 8 users) or higher.
*ServiceTitan: 12-month minimum contract required from day one.
BDB: Same price whether you pay monthly or annually. No annual prepay required, no contracts.
Jobber's Core plan is $49/mo for 1 user. By the time your crew grows, so does the bill. BDB stays flat at $69/mo for up to 20 users.

Jobber does scheduling well. But if you want your books clean and your job costs accurate, it leaves a lot on the table.
Without expense sync, your QBO shows revenue but not costs. That means your P&L for each job is fiction until someone manually enters every receipt.
Jobber's Core plan is cheap because it's for one person. Add a second crew member and you jump to $139/mo. Add 10 and you're at $199/mo. BDB: $69/mo for up to 20.
BDB offers bookkeeping starting at $495/mo and fractional CFO services starting at $1,500/mo — all software included. Jobber sells software. BDB gives you a financial partner.
Jobber's payment sync creates "undeposited funds" entries in QBO that clash with manual bank deposits. The result: double-counted revenue and hours of cleanup for your bookkeeper.
Buy bulk supplies once, allocate to every job that used them. Jobber forces one receipt to one job.
Side-by-side P&L by location, division, or service line. Jobber doesn't have this dashboard view.
Subcontractor cost tracking as a 3rd bucket on every estimate and dashboard. Jobber lumps subs into other costs, distorting margins on sub-heavy jobs.
$69/month. 20 users. All tools. Full QuickBooks expense sync. No contracts. Founder's rate locked when you sign up before June 30, 2026.
