Every report in one place, from certified payroll to job financials.
Reports
The Reports section (open Reports > All Reports, or use the sidebar Reports group) is the single home for every report in the app. It has a search box at the top and groups reports into five categories:
- Payroll & Labor: Payroll Report, Payroll by Jurisdiction, and Certified Payroll.
- Sales Tax & Revenue: Revenue & Sales Tax by Jurisdiction.
- Financial / CFO: Company P&L / Job Financials.
- Business Segments: Segment Performance (only shows when Business Units are enabled).
- Marketing: Lead Source ROI & Spend.
Quick period selector: Every report has a period selector at the top with one-click presets, Previous Month, MTD, Last Payroll, Payroll to Date, Last Qtr, Qtr to Date, YTD, and All time, plus custom date pickers for any range. The Financial, Segment, and Marketing reports omit the two payroll-cycle presets. "Last Payroll" and "Payroll to Date" follow your company's pay schedule set in Admin > Settings.
Job-lifetime vs. calendar dates: For the Financial and Segment reports the period picks which jobs appear, and each job shows its full start-to-finish numbers (the same job-lifetime model as the CFO Dashboard). The payroll, tax, revenue, and marketing reports instead slice by calendar date for the period you choose.
Export: Each report can be exported to Excel.
Who can see what: Report visibility is controlled by per-category Role Permissions (Admin > Role Permissions, managed by BDB). A role can be granted access to some report categories and not others.
Coming soon: A future update (Stage 2) will add compare-vs-previous-period (showing the dollar and percent change) and a Show Graph/Chart option on each report.
